PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the programmed charging easily by a method, wherein the supply of midnight power is detected, and the difference between the number of days which is set by a number-of-holdings setting switch and the number of days on which midnight power is supplied but actual charging is not performed is calculated and then the charging is started. SOLUTION: A midnight power charger controller is connected to a line through which power is supplied only during midnight. The supply of midnight power is detected, the number of days on which the night-time charging is not necessary is set by a number-of-holdings setting switch 5 and the difference between the set number of days and the number of days on which midnight power is supplied but the actual charging is not performed is calculated. That is, if the calculated difference is zero, a charging start signal is transmitted, and the night-time charging is started. If the calculated difference is not zero, the operation is not started until the power supply is finished and a value (1) is deducted from a value (2) stored in an arithmetic circuit 7, in accordance with the power supply. |
