PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a substantial reduction of air blowing sound when an indoor device is operated by a method wherein an arrangement of each of composing elements is changed in such a way that the air blowing sound of a cross-flow fan may not be radiated directly from an air blowing port and concurrently this air blowing sound is effectively absorbed. SOLUTION: This device has, within a casing 2, a cross-flow fan 7 arranged at a downstream side of an air flow from a heat exchanger 6, and an air flow guiding section 8 for guiding air flow sucked through a suction port 8a to an air outlet port 5. The air flow guiding section 8 is provided with an arcuate portion bulged out with a larger radius of curvature than an outer circumference of the cross-flow fan 7, and then the suction port 8a communicated with the air outlet port is formed at an upstream end of the arcuate portion. A sound absorbing wall 21 for absorbing air blowing sound generated when the cross-flow fan 7 is operated is arranged at an upstream side of the air flow opposing against the suction port 8a of the flow guiding section 8. The sound absorbing wall 21 comprises a rear surface 2a and a partition wall 19 which are continuous to form an arcuate shape at an opposing position facing against the suction port 8a, and a sound absorbing member 22 adhered to an entire inner region ranging from the rear surface to the partition wall. |
