PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a photovoltaic element with a high photoelectric conversion efficiency, an excellent durability and an excellent environment-proof, by forming its reflection layer using aluminum-magnesium alloy or aluminum-titanium alloy as the main component. SOLUTION: A photovoltaic element comprises a substrate 190 (an insulator supporting member 100, an intermediate layer 199, a reflection layer 101, a buffer layer 102), an n-type layer (or a p-type layer) 103, n/i and p/i buffer layers 151, 161, an i-type layer 104, a p-type layer (or an n-type layer) 105, a transparent electrode 112 and a collecting electrode 113. This photovoltaic element excels in the adhesiveness to the supporting member 100 under the environment of a high temperature, a high humidity and a high concentration of chroline ions when providing the reflection layer 101 made of aluminum-magnesium alloy in it, and under the environment of a high temperature, a high humidity and a pyrogenetic property when providing the reflection layer 101 made of aluminum-titanium alloy in it. Therefore, in this photovoltaic element, there is scarcely generated any film-peeling even when it is subjected to a bend-peeling test performed at a high temperature, in a high humidity and after dipping it in sea water, and similarly, there is generated no electro-migration even when it is subjected to a heat deterioration test of a high temperature, resulting in its stable high photoelectric conversion efficiency. |
