<p>A method of conveying articles (2) on a transport vehicle (4) from a first location to a second location spaced from the transport vehicle (4) including the step of providing a conveyor system (17) comprising (a) a cart (10) for supporting an article (2), (b) mechanism for guiding the cart (10) along a predetermined path between the first location and the second location, and (c) mechanism (16) for supporting at least part of the guiding mechanism (14) on a subjacent surface. The method further includes the step of assembling at least part of at least one of the guiding mechanism (14) and the supporting mechanism (16), placing an article (2) from the transport vehicle (4) on the cart (10), translating the cart (10) with the article (2) thereon from the first location to the second location along the predetermined path, and removing the article (2) from the cart (10) at the second location.</p> |
