Time display device for vending machine

The arrangement includes a control part (3), a display part, and a clock (6) which counts the current time. The control part produces a control signal, when no coins are entered in the vending machine, in response to which the current time counted by the clock, is indicated. If a coin is entered in the vending machine, a control signal is produced, in response to which, the amount of the coins recorded by a coin detection mechanism (1) can be indicated. The display part (4) indicates alternatively the current time or the amount of the coins, in dependence on the corresponding control signal from the control part.
