<p>A display device, particularly for a TV set or a personal computer, which is provided with a picture displaying means composed of a plurality of unit picture elements arranged in both vertical and horizontal directions. The display device is provided with a signal switch means which drives new picture elements each of which is composed of a plurality of continuous unit picture elements to display moving pictures. The 'unit picture element' can be regarded as a static element, and the 'new picture element' as a dynamic element. Therefore, large moving pictures can be displayed with high resolution of several hundred dots per inch.</p> |
