Modular packaging for food and drinks containers

A reusable modular packaging system has a covering material which has a character from a soft bending to a film type supported by a malleable structure (2) as a shell body/shell ribs (2') for protection against pressures or impacts. The shell ribbing (2') is bonded to the covering material, integrally or differentially, at least at one point, for exchange or renewal on hygiene grounds, and are held together at points or zones, so that they can be separated easily. The shell ribbing (2'), especially when used for packing food and drinks, can be cleaned in a process which is of no danger to the environment, is non-aggressive and has a low solvent content, without any need for a further cleaning action on the material in contact with the filling. The carrier structure (2) is preferably reinforced or unreinforced thermoplastics or duroplastics. The shrouding material is of shear-resistant reinforced or unreinforced bags or tubes, especially of polyethylene film, inserted into the housing.
