Exhaust gas manifold for internal combustion engine

There are at least two input flanges (6,7) in the exhaust gas manifold (1), spaced-apart and fixable to a cylinder for connection of the inner pipe (2) to at least two spaced-apart cylinder outlet channels of the engine. An exhaust gas flange (8) is provided for connection of an exhaust gas pipe. A space (4) is formed between the inner pipe and the outer shell (3) for air gap insulation. Distance rings (11-17) are provided for support of the inner pipe on the outer shell. A positioning shell connects the distance rings via ribs, the rings being segments open in a peripheral area. The positioning shell is principally accommodated by the lower half-shell of the outer shell.
