Torsion oscillation damper for automotive drive shaft

The damper comprises a mass balance (22) which is directly linked to and driven through the housing by a motor. The mass balance is moved and linked to the drive (1) by a gear (5). The gear is a planetary gear (6) in which the planetary carrier (7) is fixed to the moving part (3) of the gear, and sun wheel (12) is secured to the drive housing (2). Planetary wheels (10,11) transfer moments to the mass balance from the moving part of the gear.
