Bus with roll-over protection

The bus has seats with a backrest to which is assigned a roll-over protection device over the upper end of the backrest. The device is designed as an upright (16) anchored to the floor of the bus beside the seat (14). The upright is located between two neighbouring seats. The neighbouring seats to the upright are held onto the upright. The upright comprises a retaining element engaging the neighbouring seat. The upright is located at a distance from the roof of the bus. The upright carries a support element at its end facing the roof that extends transversely to the longitudinal axis. The upright has a ventilation channel with at least one opening. The upright has a lamp and a switch.
