Power transmission chain for motor vehicle and two wheeled motor vehicle

The transmission chain has an inverted tooth chain (1) engaged with a sprocket wheel. The chain is composed of multiple link plates (2a-2e) connected to each other successively. Each link plate has two teeth (21) which bites into the frank surfaces (2ai-2di) of the sprocket wheel. The profiles of the frank surface and the chain tooth are shaped such that the teeth moves similar to that of the gear cutter used for mfg the sprocket wheel.
