The vehicle boot lock consists of a lock plate (5), a rotating catch (6), a locking latch (7), an opening lever (8) for the locking latch and a tensioning lever (9). The tensioning lever is mounted on the lock plate coaxially with the rotating catch and has an electromechanical tensioning drive (15). The locking latch is mounted on the tensioning lever eccentrically to the rotating catch and has an actuating pin (11) at its free end. The opening lever is mounted axis parallel to the locking latch and engages the actuating pin. A boot opening button lever (16) and remote opening tension element (17) are connected to the free end of the opening lever.
