The publication discloses a mega wind power station, which provides for large scale utilization of the wind power at a competitive price compared to other energy production forms. The wind power station (1) comprises more than one tower (3), having wind power units (2) one below the other. A special siting carrier (8) assembles the rotor, the gear, the generators and enables the accommodation on top of each other in the tower. The production efficiency of the station is based on the possibility to utilize the bigger energy quantity of the higher air layer and the multiple operating efficiency of the ground area MWh, a/m<2> compared to known wind power stations. |
