<p>An extrusion for suspending a panel (2), especially of advertising material, consists of a hollow bar (1) with a slot (13) along its lower edge connected to inner parallel vertical walls (14). The walls (14) and the lower portion of the extrusion are designed to receive fastenings (18,32) for the suspended panel and/or its accessories, while its upper portion has a series of lengthwise inner channels and at least one exterior groove or ridge. The extrusion has a generally barrel-shaped cross-section, with rounded side walls connected to a flat upper section (11) which is recesses to form a lengthwise channel for suspension elements or a sliding trim strip. The inner cavity of the extrusion can be used, for example, to house electrical equipment such as lighting (29) carried on a sliding strip (28). Its open ends are covered by caps (25) held in place by screws.</p> |
