Real time weighing device

The device comprises an upper frame (11) and a chassis (3) which contains two circular supports (14) that receive food containers. Each support is mechanically connected to a strain gauge (1) through a link such as a screw (22). The output from the strain gauges passes through A/D convertors to an electronic card which has a digital unit, memory card socket, PC connection and indicator lamp. After initialisation, any changes in the weight of the two food containers are recorded with their time and date. Rechargeable batteries supply a regulated supply voltage.
