Tape printer

摘要

The printer has a storage device (103) for the image data to be printed onto the tape (4). A recording device (107) with printing elements records the image data pointwise on the tape in successive print cycles. A drive device (106) feeds the tape along the recording device. A device determines the number of print elements to be activated in each cycle. The speed matching mechanism controls the speed of the drive device depending on the quantity of image data in the storage device and the number of print elements to be activated per cycle.
