<p>Prodn. of a pressed-in torsional oscillation damper, consisting of two concentric metal rings (A) with an elastomeric ring (B) pressed into the space between rings (A) and with bearing surfaces formed between the elastic and metal components is new. The process comprises coating the bearing surfaces of (A) and/or (B) with a cold-hardening or catalytically-activated adhesive or adhesive mixt. (I), inserting ring (B) into the gap between the hub ring and the oscillating ring and activating the adhesive by assembling the components. Pref. suitable adhesive systems may be initially non-adhesive after drying, esp. halogen-contg. polymers contg. at least 2 nitroso gps. and/or crosslinkers which form nitroso gps. during the activation process, together with catalytic metals and isocyanates. Other adhesives comprise adducts or educts of polyaddition, polycondensation or polymerisation polymers, or a mixt. of at least 2 of the above types.</p> |
