The in-line roller skate has a frame (1) made from two parallel vertical flanges with four or more rollers (4-7) between them. The axles of the rollers lie perpendicular to the flanges. The axles of the two middle rollers (5,6) are adjustable in vertical slots (9,11) in the flanges by two auxiliary plates (12) with oblique slots. The two auxiliary plates can be moved horizontally relative to the flanges and have lower edges (12a,13a) which curve under the edges of the flanges. After adjustment, they are locked in place by fixings (19). The oblique slots in the additional plates are basically kidney-shaped, and have two rounded ends set at different levels. In addition the two plates are joined rigidly together by a cross-piece passing under the skate.
|
