PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively keep an object cool or effectively cool an object. SOLUTION: A cold-reserving material 1 is prepd. by mixing a gelatinous cold-reserving substance 2 comprising 1-3wt.% poly(sodium acrylate) and 69-47wt.% water with 30-50wt.% propylene glycol and is tightly sealed into a flexible bag 3. The substance 2 is gelatinous without becoming solid even when cooled to from about -40 deg.C to about -20 deg.C, and the material 1 is deformable and can be in contact with an object to be cooled with a wide contact area. The inner space 5 of the bag 3 is divided into mutually connected storage spaces 6 so that the substance 2 is evenly distribited even when the amt. of it is small. |
