FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: axidiagonal impeller 2 is enclosed in cylindrical ferrule 2. Impeller 1 consists of hub 3 and blades 6 secured to this hub. Hub 3 is made in form of body of revolution of double curvature. Diameter of hub at flow inlet is equal to 0.20-0.25 of impeller diameter and to 0.68-0.72 at outlet. Description contains formula of calculation of hub generatrix and of center line of profile in cylindrical sections of blade 6 of impeller 2. Leading edge of blade is located in line of equal velocities of flow and is made in form of convex curve extended in area of flow inlet. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 dwga
