PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swimming cap, capable of disturbing a water stream flowing on the surface thereof, providing a turbulent flow, reducing the shape resistance and useful for improving records by forming a protrusion group composed of independent fine protrusions on the surface of the swimming cap body. SOLUTION: This swimming cap comprises a material having the stretchability and is obtained by forming a protrusion group 4a, composed of independent fine protrusions 4 and arranged so as to form a zigzag shape from the flow direction on the surface of the swimming cap body or arranged so as to provide the zigzag shape from the front and rear directions of the swimming cap in the back of the head. The distance among the respective protrusions 4 constituting the protrusion group 4a is preferably 3.0-10.0mm and the height thereof is preferably 0.5-2.0mm.
