PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a space effectively, and form a device in a compact size by arranging a filter, a pump, and vapor separator between right and left surge tanks, in a vertical V-type engine for an outboard motor provided with right and left banks backward, and provided with surge tanks on right and left sides of an engine front side. SOLUTION: A vertical six cylinder V-type engine 7 for an outboard engine 1 is provided with two banks 30a, 30b in which each of three cylinders are arranged vertically, which are arranged in a V-type on both right and left sides from a crank shaft 52 to the slant rear. Three intake passages 11 branched from each surge tank 10 arranged on right and left sides of the engine front side are connected to respective banks 30a, 30b of the engine 7. A starter 72 and an alternator 73 which rotates together with the crank shaft 52 are arranged on both out sides of a crank case 74, and also a vane separator 81 provided with a regulator and the like is arranged on the front side of the crank case 74. Fuel led from a low pressure pump 86 is boosted up and supplied to an injector 38. |
