EXCISION OF ABNORMAL TISSUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effective and completely excise a cancer tissue and a precancer tissue by guiding an endoscope into a digestive tract of a patient to suck an abnormal tissue onto a ligature at a far end thereof and a ligature band is applied to the base end of the abnormal tissue to form a polyp for abscission. SOLUTION: An endoscope 10 is provided with a suction route 11 and a fiber optics lighting route 12 and the final end 13 thereof is connected to a control box. A ligature treatment is monitored directly or by a video camera or the like using a eyepiece 14. A ligature ring 20 is fixed at the front end of a tub 18 of the endoscope 10 and a trip wire 15 passed through a biopsy route 16 is mounted on a notch 19 at the rear end of a pipe 18. An endoscope over tube is arranged for a patient to guide the endoscope 10 into the digestive tract. The tube 18 is advanced being directly watched until it surrounds a target and then, the suction route 11 is operated to suck a lesion into the tube 18. At this point, the trip wire 15 is pulled and the lesion is fixed by a ring 20 to cut.
