FLAME RETARDANT POLYPROPYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION AND ITS MOLDING PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the welding strength of an inorganic filler loaded type polypropylene-based resin, improved in flame retardance and having a high rigidity. SOLUTION: This resin composition is obtained by melt mixing a polypropylene-based resin with at least an inorganic filler, antimony trioxide and a bromine-based flame retardant. In this case, the bromine-based flame retardant is prepared by using a high-melting bromine-based flame retardant having >=280 and <=320 deg.C melting point with a low-melting bromine-based flame retardant having >=80 and <=130 deg.C melting point in combination. The weight fraction occupied by the low-melting bromine-based flame retardant in the total bromine-based flame retardant is within the range of 3-10%.
