PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain foam excellent in surface smoothness by sprinkling foaming agent-containing thermoplastic resin pellets and heating the pellets to foam them. SOLUTION: When foaming agent-containing thermoplastic resin pellets 7 are heated and foamed in the feed region between endless feed belts 1, 2 while fed to obtain foam, the endless feed belts have a double structure constituted of first belts 1a, 2a having air permeability on the contact side with the foaming agent-containing thermoplastic resin pellets and second belts 1b, 2b almost not having air permeability on the opposite side. |
