PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device ensuring freedom from an image stop, regardless of the generation of a noise or the like, regarding a display control device capable of generating an image on an image display device on the basis of image data updated at all times. SOLUTION: A communication interruption time for interrupting communication to transmit image data (display information) from a generator control device (game control device) 10 to the CPU 21 of a display control device 11, is set to be shorter than a time for VDP 22 of the display control device 10 to generate an image from the drawing start point to the end point of LCD 12 (i.e., V-SYNC interruption time). Also, a vertical synchronous signal from the VDP 22 is cleared and the transfer of image data from the CPU 22 to the VDP 22 is started synchronously with the communication interruption timing or V-SYNC interruption timing, with a priority given to the communication interruption over the V-SYNC interruption. |
