FIELD: confectionery industry, in particular, cutting of multilayer wafer sheets. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has table, drive pusher, immovable stop, sheet retaining mechanism, movable and immovable frames with cutting members and movable frame drive. Rocker arm is rigidly fixed on movable frame. Pusher drive has eccentric, two bars provided with spring-loaded catches and mounted for reciprocating in sheet feeding direction, carriage and bracket with sleeve-and-roller chain mounted on it. Stop mounted on upper chain run is kinematically connected with carriage and links of lower chain run are arranged on catches for cooperation with them. Movable frame drive has feeler gauge, crank with finger, which is mounted for movement along crank axis and kinematically connected with feeler gauge and rocker arm. Crank axis is positioned at right angle relative to eccentric movement direction. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 cl, 8 dwgo
