PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensitive recording material excellent in the fastness of a developed color image under a high temp. and high humidity condition. SOLUTION: In a pressure-sensitive recording material wherein a recording layer containing microcapsules of a colorless or light-colored basic dye is provided on a support, a fluorane compd. represented by formula is contained in microcapsules as a basic dye. In the formula R1 is a hydrogen atom or a 1-6C alkyl group, R2 is a hydrogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group or a phenyl group, R3 is -COR5 , -COOR6 , -CH2 R7 ,-CH2 CH=CH2 or a 1-6C alkyl group, R5 is a hydrogen atom, a 1-4C alkyl group or a phenyl group, R6 is a 1-4C alkyl group, R7 is a phenyl group and R4 is one selected from 1-4C alkyl group and a phenyl group. |
