PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent clogging of an air breather hole and blockage due to deformation by drilling an air breather passage to communicate an upper part of a drive shaft storage chamber and an outer peripheral upper part of a spindle member to each other on the spindle member. SOLUTION: An air breather passage 98 one end of which is communicated to an upper part of a drive shaft storage chamber 24 and the other end of which is opened to an outer peripheral upper part of a spindle member 22 is provided on an inward part in the car width direction of an inner hub bearing 34 of the spindle member 22. Thereafter, an upper opening part 100 of the air breather passage 98 is connected to one end of an air breather pipe 102. The other end of the air breather pipe 102 is fixed at a position sufficiently higher than the drive shaft storage chamber 24 by a clamp device and opened to the atmospheric air. Consequently, even when temperature of lubricating oil rises in the middle of travelling, as it is communicated to the atmospheric air through the air breather passage 98 and the air breather pipe 102, pressure in each of the chambers 66, 40, 24 storing lubricating oil is not increased. Consequently, no high pressure is applied on oil seals 104, 106.
