PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a door open/close device compact by housing the device in rotors or pulleys at both ends, further make the device itself compact under the elimination of an air pressure source or a rotating motor, and perform a delicate control process including controllability regarding the open/close speed of a door or the position thereof. SOLUTION: This door open/close device is made of a linear motor 10, a door locking and unlocking mechanism 11 driven by the motor 10, and a door open/close drive transmission mechanism 15 for opening and closing a door via the door locking and unlocking mechanism 11. In this case, the linear motor 10 has a moving part and a stationary part, and the moving part comes to be engaged with the door locking and unlocking mechanism 11. Furthermore, the stationary part has a rail mounted on the body of the door open/close device for enabling the moving part to slide thereon. |
