PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To yield a stable auto-diagnostic result by calculating a characteristic quantity being lesser influenced by difference in the image picking-up conditions. SOLUTION: A characteristic quantity calculating block 74 in a diagnosis support processing execution program 70 of a diagnosis supporting device calculates the inter-ROI characteristic quantity by combining two or more ROI's set in one endoscopic image, and thereby evaluates the relative difference with a normal mucous membrane between differing disease indications. That is, judgement and classification not being influenced by the dispersion of image picking-up conditions can be made practicable by determining the relative value of the characteristic quantity calculated from a plurality of ROI's in the same image. |
