PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent condensation by a method wherein a mixture of hydrophilic powder resin and moisture absorbing agent in the form of powder are put into a fiber reinforced structure and on both surfaces thereof and the structure is sintered to form a moisture absorbing and water absorbing porous wall material. SOLUTION: A mixture of hydrophilic powder resin such as polyethylene and moisture absorbing agent, in the form of powder, such as chitin, activated alumina, silica gel are put into and on both surfaces of a fiber reinforced structure, which structure is sintered. And mean particle diameter of the resin is within the range of 5-2000μm and that of the agent is within the range of 1/3-3 times the mean particle diameter of the resin. Next, by making the resin integral to the interior and exterior of the fiber reinforced structure, continuous pores can be provided and porosity is 30-80% and water-absorbing capacity is 0.5g or more per 1g. And if the wall material is vertically set in water to a depth of 10mm at ambient temperature, a water absorbing power to a height of 10mm or more from a water level can be provided by capillary phenomenon in one minute after it is put into water. Thus a wall material having improved impact resistance and dimensional stability, when the material absorbs water, can be obtained.
