<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for workpieces on a production line which can accurately easily and economically control the optimum numerical amount of the workpiece in a buffer, accompanying the alteration of a production ratio. SOLUTION: Every time a new production ratio is inputted from a ratio input part 26b, a proper amount calculating part 26c calculates a proper workpiece holding amount based on the production ratio, and an adjusting part 26d compares the calculated proper holding amount with a workpiece amount held actually in a buffer recognized by a workpiece number recognizing part 26a. Further, since an amount of production on a production line is adjusted, a mechanical switch or the like to recognize the proper holding amount is not shifted every time the production ratio is altered so that the optimum numerical amount control in the buffer can be carried out accurately and easily.</p> |
