摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edging device which automatically performs edging as designed. SOLUTION: An origin O of three dimensional coordinates in an edging device for a scissors is set over the surface of a grinding wheel 4b, its X axis is set in such a way as to be parallel with a rotating axis 4c of the grinding wheel 4b, and its Z axis is so set as to coincide with the normal line of the surface of the grinding wheel 4b. In other words, the X axis is so set as to coincide with the tangent of the surface of the grinding wheel 4b. In a state that an edge is being given to an arbitrary point Pn of a blade tip 42, the point Pn coincides with the origin O of the three dimensional coordinates, the normal line of the point Pn coincides with the Z axis (the normal line of the surface of the grinding wheel 4b), and the tangent of the point Pn coincides with the X axis (the tangent of the surface of the grinding wheel 4b). Therefore, an edge can thereby given is response to the curved line of the blade tip 42 determined by respective points P1 through P50.
