PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric porcelain compsn. for high frequency having a low dielectric constant and a high Q value at 10GHz measurement frequency and capable of improving firing conditions and to obtain a dielectric resonator. SOLUTION: This dielectric porcelain compsn. contains Zr or Sc by 0.1-15 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of ZrO2 or Sc2 O3 ) per 100 pts.wt. base which is multiple oxide of Mg, Al and Si represented by the formula, xMgO.yAl2 O3 .zSiO2 [where (x), (y) and (z) show molar ratio, 10<=x<=40, 10<=y<=40, 20<=z<=80 and x+y+z=100]. |
