PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroideries data programmer capable of embroidering a line art without damaging the picture image of an original picture. SOLUTION: A segment of an unit picture image based on the skeletal coded data obtained by a picture image data skeletal coding program storing device 3, is compared with a prescribed standard length by a segment length comparing program storing device 4 and a stitching data is produced based on the skeletal data having a longer length than that of the standard value. For the unit picture image shorter than that of the standard, a stitching data is produced according to the original picture image.
