PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a semi-electroconductive elastic material, having a medium level of electric resistivity, a small variation in the electric resistivity due to environmental variation, suitable for semielectroconductive roll, etc., and low in hardness by compounding an electroconductive additive and plural different elastomers. SOLUTION: This semi-conductive elastic material is composed of (A) an electroconductive additive, (B) an elastomer and (C) another elastomer. The semi-conductive elastic material has a microdomain structure in which the component B forms a substantially continuous phase, and the content of the component A in the component B is larger than that in the component C. The hardness of the component B is higher than that of the component C, and compressive permanent strain factors of the components B and C are <=20% and <=50%, respectively. Further, when producing the semi-conductive elastic material, the components A, B and C are kneaded, and it is preferable to allow only the component C to carry out cross linking reaction or polymerization reaction during the kneading. For example, butadiene rubber, etc., is preferably used as the component B, and an acrylic rubber, etc., as the component A. |
