PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fabric with both antistatic durability and bathochromicity, mainly comprising polyester fiber coated with a specific resin. SOLUTION: Polyester fiber is coated with a reactive urethane polymer having antistaticity-imparting ability and free from any bathochromatic agent followed by coating at least part of the resultant reactive urethane polymer coating film with a bathochromatic agent [e.g. a polymer made from a reactive compound of the formula (R1 is H or a lower alkyl; Rf is a group composed of a perfluoroalkyl: Cm F2m+1 and at least one kind selected from hydroxyl, ester, amino and unsaturated alkyl groups; (m) is an integer of 2-21; (n) is an integer of 10-200)]. This fabric mainly comprises the above coated polyester fiber, having the following characteristic values: degree of color deepnessΔL* after washing ten times and charged voltage due to friction are >=0.5 and <=1.5kV, respectively. |
