FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, soil tillage and seeding units. SUBSTANCE: method involves harrowing upper soil layer; performing plowing and row sowing of seed material combined with mellowing of subsurface layer in row, with seed material being embedded into mellowed furrow cut in subsurface layer by interrupted or continuous strip seeding and depth of mellowed furrow exceeding plowing depth. Apparatus has triangular wheeled frame with plowing depth regulator. Plow bodies are secured to frame hypotenuse and plank with guides, furrow surface plowing depth regulator and replaceable rippers are positioned in parallel with hypotenuse. Rippers provide mellowing of furrow surface and interrupted or continuous strip seeding. Ridge-type frame pivotally fixed in acute portion of triangular frame is adapted to carry casings for seeds and fertilizer and seeding units. Fertilizer and seed guides with tips throw fertilizer and seeds into newly cut furrow with mellowed surface. Ridge-type frame is hitched with its other end to tractor. Roller with disks for mellowing soil layer and furrow wall cutting is fixed to ridge-type frame bottom. Roller has guides with lifting mechanism scale. Soil leveling and smoothing sweep is attached to tailing part of ridge-type frame. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 cl, 5 dwgÛ
