PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to lighten and smoothen insertion and removal without applying load to a butterfly rod when the butterfly rod is inserted into a case in a slide fastener. SOLUTION: A case 1 or a butterfly rod 3 is formed at the end of right and left fastener stringers 15 with a thermoplastic resin, the case 1 has a straight butterfly rod insertion hole 6 through which the butterfly rod 3 can be inserted, and on one side, a side groove 8 is provided in the outer wall 7 of the insertion hole 6, and a stopper 9 is formed below it. The butterfly rod 3 is tapered and straight in the inside edge, a thin wall guide groove 11 is provided on the lateral part of the butterfly rod 3 and a guide rail 10 is provided integrally in the lateral part thereof. When the butterfly rod 3 is inserted into the insertion hole 6 of the case 1, the inside of the head 13 of the guide rail 10 glides on the groove edge 8 of the case 1, guiding actively the butterfly rod 3, and allowing smooth insertion without applying load to the butterfly rod. |
