The invention refers to chemistry technology, particularly to obtaining metal corrosion inhibitors. The essence of the invention is to simplify the method of obtaining the black metals' corrosion inhibitors from carbohydrates. The essence is achieved by oxidizing carbohydrates with oxygen in an alkalescent environment with the presence of copper salt as a catalyst.The obtained carbohydrate oxidants have high steel corrosion disincentive efficiency.Products, obtained by the given metal corrosion inhibitor obtaining method, can be used for metal systems inhibition, which are used in desalinated water as well as in water without any preparations.
