PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join a catheter and a vital tissue to allow the catheter to follow up the vital tissue near the percutaneous part and eventually to prevent the infiltration of bacteria into the body from the percutaneous part of the catheter by providing the outside surface of an intermediate part with a fixing part having porous ceramic particles. SOLUTION: This intraperitoneal indwelling catheter 1 is obtd. by forming a catheter body of an indwelling part 2 indwelling in the abdominal cavity, an extension part 4 extending outside the abdominal cavity and the intermediate part 3 therebetween. The catheter body has a passage and a fixing part 5 having porous ceramic particles is installed on the outside surface of the intermediate part 3. The extension part 4 side of the intermediate part 3 is provided with the fixing part 5. The outside surface of the intermediate part 3 is provided with the fixing part 5 having the porous ceramic particles in such a manner, by which the joining force of the fixing part 5 having the porous ceramic particles to the vital tissue is increased and the catheter 1 is fixed in the state that the catheter 1 follows up the movement of the percutaneous part of the catheter when the catheter exists in the abdominal cavity. |
