PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the rapid shielding of a needle after use. SOLUTION: This catheter advancing and automatic needle retreating device by single action roughly includes a hollow barrel 30, a needle hub 21 which can include a back flow chamber 22 disposed in this barrel 30, a second back flow chamber 50 which is disposed in the barrel 30, an energizing mechanism 40 for retreating the needle into the barrel and a clip 60 which is combined with the second back flow chamber 50 in order to be engaged with the needle hub 21. The needle hub is engaged with the second back flow chamber and holds the needle in an extended position by overcoming the force of the energizing mechanism 40 until the catheter advances by a specified distance from the terminal of the barrel 30. |
