PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stabilized coloring properties and decoloring properties and erase at high speed by using a carboxylic acid compound represented by a specified formula as an electron receptive compound in a reversible heat- sensitive coloring composition utilizing the coloring reaction between an electron receptive coloration compound and the electron receptive compound. SOLUTION: In a reversible heat-sensitive coloring composition in which the colored state formed by the difference of heating temperature and/or coloring temperature after heating and the decolores state can be formed by using an electron donative coloration compound and an electron receptive compound, a carboxylic acid compound represented by the formula I is used as the electron receptive compound. In the formula I, A contains urea bond and represents hydrocarbon of 8C or more, B represents aliphatic hydrocarbon having a substituent of anyone of hydroxyl, carboxyl or halogenated atom. Also A represents a group represented by the formula II, and in the formula II, R<1> and R<2> represent a hydrocarbon containing a bivalent group containing heteroatom or a substituent. |
