PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stabilized coloring properties and decoloring properties and properties of preventing the generation of undecolored portions by containing a fluoran compound represented by a specified formula in a reversible coloring composition utilizing the coloring reaction between an electron coloration compound and an electron receptive compound. SOLUTION: In a reversible coloring composition in which a coloring agent as an electron acceptive coloration compound and a developer as an electron acceptive compound are contained as main components and also the relatively colored state and the decolored state can be formed by the difference of the heat temperature and/or the coloring speed after heating, a fluoran compound of formula structure is contained. In the formula, R<1> and R<2> represent respectively and independently 1-5C alkyl, the straight chain or branched chain alkenyl or cycloalkyl. X represents the same or different substituent selected from the group consisting of 1-5C alkyl and halogen, and (n) represents 1 or 2. |
