<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club having a grip allowing the center of gravity of a whole club to be shifted toward the side of the grip, and ensuring a proper holding state as well as a proper grip feeling. SOLUTION: This golf club is formed out of a clubhead, a carbon fiber reinforced plastic shaft 1, and an approximately cylindrical grip 2 attached to the handle part 6 of the shaft 1. Furthermore, the handle part 6 is formed to have a tapered step part 5 having a diameter gradually increased toward the side of the handle 6 on the clubhead side, and the handle part 6 is also tapered so as to gradually expand in diameter toward the end thereof in such a state as approximately in parallel with the outline of the grip 2.</p> |
