PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject tire tread comprising the blend of a specific copolymer with polybutadiene rubber and exhibiting a remarkably improved rolling resistance and a wet slip behavior, when subjected to an ABS braking treatment. SOLUTION: This tire tread comprises a composition obtained by blending (C) polybutadiene rubber with a base material comprising (A) the copolymer having a room temperature elastic modulus of 5-35% (at 22 deg.C) and produced from (i) butadiene and (ii) isoprene and/or (iii) styrene and (B) conventional additives. The component A is preferably produced from 5-60% of the component (i), <=60% of the component (ii) and <=45% of the component (iii), wherein the content of vinyl groups in the dienic units is preferably 50-90%. The tread rubber contains aromatic and/or naphthenic and/or paraffinic oils containing carbon black and/or a mineral filler. The blend ratio of the copolymer to the component C is preferably 90:10 to 40:60.
