PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a high strength titanium alloy excellent in workability by preparing a Ti alloy contg. Fe and O by specified ratios respectively. SOLUTION: A Ti alloy contg., by mass, 0.20 to 0.8%, preferably, 0.3 to 0.5% Fe, 0.20 to 0.6%, preferably, 0.3 to 0.5% O, and the balance Ti with inevitable impurities is prepd., by which the high strength titanium alloy excellent in workability can be produced. This titanium alloy is subjected to hot forging in the temp. condition of (theβtransformation point -200 deg.C) to 950 deg.C and is thereafter cooled. In this way, a high strength titanium product excellent in decorativeness, beauty, fastness and the like can be obtd.
