PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect insertion in all states by combining a signal of a pressure sensitive sensor fitted to a window frame, a load signal of window glass and a position signal of the window glass in a power window device for a vehicle. SOLUTION: A belt-like pressure sensitive sensor S is fitted to the inside of a window frame 8 having a side window rain visor 9 on the outside, and window glass W is driven to vertically open/close by a motor. At the time of moving up the window glass W, in case of the upper end of the window glass W being detected to be out of an upper end area by a position sensor, insertion is judged in case the voltage value of a motor driving current signal is the weak sensitive judgment value or more, and in case of the upper end of the window glass W being within the upper end area, insertion is judged in case there is the output of the pressure sensitive sensor S and the voltage value of a motor driving current signal is the strong sensitive judgment value or more. Insertion preventing function is not therefore actuated only by touching the pressure sensitive sensor S by mistake, and even in case of not touching the pressure sensitive sensor S, the insertion preventing function is actuated by pressing the window glass W hard so as to be able to prevent insertion in advance. |
