PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent compsn. which is excellent in enzyme reaction rate by incorporating a saccharide-decomposing enzyme and at least one salt selected from among alkylsulfates and alkylsulfonates having an alkyl chain with the number or carbon atoms specified into the same. SOLUTION: A detergent mixture is obtd. by compounding about 10-45wt.% nonionic surfactant (e.g. a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether), about 10-45wt.% anionic surfactant (e.g. an alkylethoxysulfate), about 5-40wt.% divalent-metal-ion scavenger (e.g. citric acid), about 1-5wt.% resoiling preventive (e.g. polyethylene glycol), a chlorine scavenger (e.g. monoethanolamine), a solubilizer (e.g. ethanol), and an alkali agent. The mixture is compounded with 0.1-20wt.% alkylsulfate having a 1-5C alkyl chain (e.g. sodium methylsulfate) or alkylsulfonate having a 1-5C alkyl chain and 1-10,000u/g, esp. 10-1,000u/g, saccharide-decomposing enzyme (e.g.α-amylase or cellulase) to give a detergent compsn. excellent in detergency.
